Late Night Lip Service

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars)

Late Night Lip Service is a fun-filled night led by the marvellous host, the 7ft tall, ginger queen of divas herself, Gingzilla. This queen packs a punch and leads the audience through the night with a combination of comedy, song and audience participation. Gingzilla was recently dubbed a “Global Sensentaiton” by the today show and its easy to see why. The audience was a mix of drag loving gays, drunken ladies, a few office parties and one very confused looking trio of ladies in their late 70s who went from mild fear to being up on their feet dancing along. The show is a drug, you can’t help but get involved and sing along.

Throughout the night Gingzilla brought a host of guests on, each of them bringing the best of the best of talent at the fringe. It was even all drag either as there were comedy double acts aswell who brought the house down.

Two favourite acts of mine graced the stage, the hyped and dramatic Alfie Ordinary whos youthful performance had us all in fits of laughter and then the mystic and fringe favourite Séayoncé. (Daniel Wye) who once again showed us how to slay. All five of the acts I had the pleasure of seeing brought something new to the table and did not disappoint.

An electric late-night performance that has you smiling from start to finish, Gingzilla and her guests and simply outstanding and a selection of the best talent at the fringe. It’s camp, it’s exciting, it’s everything it’s sold to be and more
